A man and a woman have been charged in connection with drugs supply offences in Norwich.
Officers carried out a warrant at a property on Clifton Street on Monday morning (1 June), where they recovered suspected Class A drugs, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s were arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
George Ward, 48, and Jessie Ward, 28, both of Clifton Street, Norwich, have been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, namely heroin, and possession of criminal property.
They both appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday 2 June).
George Ward was remanded in custody, while Jessie Ward was granted unconditional bail.
Both are due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 30 June 2026.
