Norfolk Constabulary is made up of many different roles that support frontline officers.

Current vacancies

How much will I earn?
If you are interested in applying for one of our police staff vacancies, the salary for that post will be detailed in the advert. The salary ranges for all pay scales with effect from September 2022 are:

Band A £20,490 - £21,018
Band B £21,018 - £21,677
Band C £23,100 - £25,758
Band D £26,232 - £29,433
Band E £30,375 - £34,287
Band F £35,223 - £39,942
Band G £41,139 - £46,437
Band H £47,496 - £51,711
Band I £52,809 - £57,447
Band J £58,674 - £62,505
Band K £63,798 - £68,106

When and how will I get paid?
We will pay you monthly by automatic credit to your bank or building society account.

Child care support
A child care voucher scheme providing tax benefits is available.

Annual leave
You will receive 24 days holiday per year and after five years’ service you will receive 29 days per year. You will also receive additional leave if you work bank holidays.

Pension scheme
You will be given the option of joining the local government pension scheme.

Subsidised meals
At some locations there is a canteen where staff can buy subsidised meals.

Sports and social clubs
Each policing area has its own sports and social club. Members can enjoy a wide range of organised activities ranging from netball to climbing, clay pigeon shooting to mountain sports and subsidised trips and holiday breaks.

Staff Support Networks
We have a wide range of staff networks in place to support our employees, including the Black Police Association, the Christian Police Association and the Gay Police Association.
