Norfolk Constabulary are delivering their award-winning Online Work Experience Programme again this year. If you are a Norfolk resident, aged 16 or 17, in your first year of sixth form or college and looking for work experience within a fast-paced and unique organisation, then this programme could be for you!
If your application is successful, you will be presented with a case that you will be required to investigate over the course of one week. Each day, a different department within the Constabulary will assign you a task to complete which will assist you with your investigation. You will learn the skills required to work in the Control Room, how to take a police statement and what it’s like to be part of a crime scene investigation, among many other things.
You will have the opportunity to work virtually with serving police officers and staff to develop your skills for employability in areas such as teamworking, problem solving and communication and interpersonal skills. This online scenario-based programme will allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical and real business environment.
You must be able to commit to the programme between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00, Monday to Friday, 7th-11th of July OR 14th -18th July 2025. There will be a supervisor available daily who can be contacted if you need support.

-What skills and attributes you feel you could bring to the online work experience programme.
