The family of a 42-year-old man who died following an industrial incident in Sprowston on Tuesday 17 February 2026 have issued the following tribute:
"As a family we are truly heartbroken.
"Brian was a wonderful fiance, father, and brother and our home and lives feel empty without him.
It is clear from the overwhelming response we have had from family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours and acquaintances, that he was greatly loved and respected by all of those he came into contact with.
"He brought love, laughter, care, support, comfort and joy to all of us and enriched our lives beyond measure.
"He will be greatly missed and never forgotten."
The circumstances remain under investigation with officers from Norfolk Police working alongside colleagues from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
The family have asked for privacy and do not wish to make further comment at this difficult time.
