Our aim is to provide a truly local policing service – communities working together with officers and partner agencies, to identify and deal with issues that matter most to them. Responding to and working closely with our communities solves problems, reduces crime and the fear of crime, and helps build trust and confidence in our service. Our approach is shaped by our vision to deliver exceptional policing for the people of Norfolk, by protecting communities, delivering exceptional services, and building and sustaining trust.
We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Loddon for the next three months:
Road Safety across South Norfolk

As well as dedicated patrols tackling road safety, we’ve held a road safety/speeding meeting with local community/parish council clerk and chair regarding priorities, issues and expectations. Chedgrave Parish Council courier sent out to all local residents which included a local police article regarding speeding. Agreement for speed enforcement to be spontaneous and around school hours.
Ticket issued for driving while on mobile device.
Mobile patrols conducted in Loddon resulted in two Traffic Offence reports being issued for causing an unnecessary obstruction by motor vehicle and failing to wear a seat belt.
