We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for Wells-next-the-Sea for the next three months. These are currently:
Tackling antisocial behaviour, drug misuse and retail theft.

High-visibility patrols, including gathering intelligence from the public. Targeting antisocial behaviour, including traffic related seizures and tickets issued. Patrols conducted around Town Centre no issues raised.
High-visibility patrols have been conducted across Wells, including Northfield Estate, The Quay, Polka Road, and Stearman's Yard car park.
Various shops have been visited in the area and given crime prevention advice, and encouraged to report any incidents to us if they occur.
Foot patrols around skate park.
Patrols and monitoring around Tamil Pilgrimage. There were no issues and lots of engagement was had.
Patrols of Wells town centre, including Stearman's Yard car park following reports of ASB and drug use- no issues spotted but the area will be monitored.
