We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for Cromer for the next three months. These are currently:
Tackling antisocial behaviour, drug misuse and retail theft.

High-visibility patrols, including gathering intelligence from the public. Targeting antisocial behaviour, including traffic related seizures and tickets issued. Crime prevention advice given to shops with further meeting arranged.
Spoken to retailers regarding reported crimes and CCTV opportunities.
Foot patrols of areas including Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, town centre, North Lodge, Meadow Road, McDonalds.
One arrest made in relation to possession of a class A drug.
Two Community Resolutions issued in relation to possession of cannabis.
Patrols of Runton Road, North Lodge Park, the Promenade, and the town centre.
Visits to shops conducting enquiries and CCTV reviews related to shoplifting and antisocial behaviour.
Young people visited and issued with warning letters regarding antisocial behaviour.
Responding to reports of antisocial behaviour, speeding, and animal welfare issue locally, working with partner agencies.
Multiple patrols have been conducted at North Lodge Park and Runton Road car park following ASB reports, and the areas will continue to be monitored. Three stage 1 ASB warning letters were issued for observed issued.
Many shops have been visited to discuss retail crime and CCTV footage has been collected in relation to theft incidents.
