Dersingham and Gayton

We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Dersingham & Gayton for the next three months:
Tackling youth and vehicle related anti-social behaviour
Tackling rural and acquisitive crime

It's already been a busy start to the summer with events and engagements across the area. As we start to see more visitors we'll also be in the tourist hot-spots helping to provide crime prevention advice. We've visited schools and youth groups too. We're supporting various events around the area including Sandringham Flower Show and will also have plans in place ahead of the summer to prevent ASB. We've been visiting local youth groups and schools to spread the message about ASB and what is and isn't acceptable during the school break.

Tackling rural crime and antisocial behaviour across West Norfolk

We’ve welcomed a lot more people in the area during the busy summer season and work has been focussed on preventing vehicle ASB and speeding to help keep everyone safe. We’ve also been heading to events when we can get out and about and doing as many foot patrols in the villages as possible.
Attention now turns to supporting educational visits where possible to prevent future ASB and to regular patrols of the hot-spots where we know it happens.
