We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for the Cobholm area for the next three months. This is currently: Tackling anti-social behaviour, with a focus on alleyways and off-road bikes in parks and residential areas
Action taken:
Visits have been completed to some nearby address in relation to ASB. Good neighbour contracts issued to two families to prevent further reports or escalating issues.
Patrols in and around the Cobholm area for offroad motor bikes being used by youths have been done, and intelligence has been reported around potential offenders of the ASB.
Six teenagers were arrested following disorder in Cobholm on Sunday 9 August. Officers were called to Stone Road at 8.20pm to reports of a large number of teenagers fighting in the street outside a property. Five of the teens were arrested for public order offences, and one was arrested for assaulting an emergency worker.
