Our aim is to provide a truly local policing service – communities working together with officers and partner agencies, to identify and deal with issues that matter most to them. Responding to and working closely with our communities solves problems, reduces crime and the fear of crime, and helps build trust and confidence in our service. Our approach is shaped by our vision to deliver exceptional policing for the people of Norfolk, by protecting communities, delivering exceptional services, and building and sustaining trust.
We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for Cobholm and Southtown for the next three months. These are currently Tackling anti-social behaviour - focusing on alcohol/drug concerns and vehicle misuse.
Issued 24 February 2026

We’ve spoken to local councillors and residents, encouraging the reporting of incidents to help build a clearer intelligence picture.
Regular patrols in and around the retail parks, offering reassurance to businesses and members of the public, after homeless individuals spoken to about aggressive begging.
Enquiries made and landlords spoken to to secure old Pizza Hut building after repeated criminal damage.
Antisocial behaviour patrols around the stairwells on Norman Lane following reports. A security fault reported with the doors and signage placed.
