Action taken:
Conduct speed checks in hotspot locations and offer safety education to all road users. Prosecution of speeding and dangerous driving where appropriate. Enforce the Public Space Protection Order where possible and appropriate to tackle vehicle anti-social behaviour.
Road safety operations have been carried out in multiple locations to target speeding, using a mobile phone, seatbelts and not having lights on, amongst other offences.
Speed checks have been conducted in key locations, such as Thunder Lane and Dussindale Drive, when possible, and education given.
