We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Harleston for the next three months:
Road Safety across South Norfolk
Issued 01 February 2026
We’ve been focussing on both speed enforcement and education around the wider Harleston area. This has included speed enforcement in Alburgh and Pulham St Mary as well as a visit to Harleston School to talk about road safety.
An e-scooter has been seized for being driven illegally (ie in a public place with no insurance etc). Various other vehicles have been seized and dealt with – for failing to stop, having no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

Speed enforcement has been carried out in Earsham and Brockdish.
We have also conducted targeted patrols in relation to vehicle anti-social behaviour during car meets.
