We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Costessey for the next three months:
Road Safety across South Norfolk
Issued 01 February 2026
We’ve been tackling antisocial and illegal vehicle, e-bike, and e-scooter usage with patrols in Queens Hill after receiving numerous complaints from the public regarding 'wheelie' bikes and very loud motorbikes. Words of advice issued to kids and adults.
We’ve also been tackling irresponsible and dangerous parking around schools via regular patrols, issuing tickets and educating drivers
Speed checks have been conducted on Dereham Road in which words of advice were issues. Incorrect national speed limit signage was removed in Easton, making the roads safer for residents and walkers.
Advice has been given to youths regarding illegal e-bikes and e-scooters, with patrols conducted on Marriotts Way regarding the issue.

We've carried out speed enforcement and road safety checks on Dereham Road in Easton.
We've also received reports of e-scooters being ridden in the Queens Hills area and therefore have been carrying out patrols in the area but no issues seen.
We encourage any anti-social vehicle use to be reported to us online on the Norfolk Police website or via 101.
