    We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Norwich East for the next three months:
    Operation Focus patrols in areas identified for anti-social behaviour and serious violence.

    Action taken:

    To address this priority, we have:

    - Carried out patrols across Norwich North areas, focusing on our hotspot areas where see more anti-social behaviour.
    - Carried out neighbourhood meetings to speak to the public and local people around any local concerns.
    - Our partnership and neighbourhood teams are in regular contact with local businesses and partners to understand issues in the hotspot areas.
    - Officers continue to obtain court orders such as CBO’s for individuals who continue to cause issues in the Norwich North area.

  • Priority:

    Anti-social behaviour (ASB) with a focus on:
    - Drug dealing and associated ASB in Mile Cross
    - ASB on Britannia Road and surrounding areas

    Action taken:

    We have conducted recent patrols of Andersons Meadow due to reports of ASB and drug dealing - a small bag of cannabis was recovered.

    High Viability foot patrols were carried out at Pointers Field where officers engaged with lots of people at the park, including a group of teenagers.

    Further foot patrols conducted of Anderson's Meadow on 3 July. Vulnerable teenager returned home.

    Patrols of Britannia Road and Rhombus Business Park were conducted on 4 July. Everyone using park were not causing any vehicle ASB.

    Foot patrols of Anderson Meadow and Pointers field were carried out on 4 July. Engaged with people in the area and no issues were seen.

    Officers have carried out joint visits with partners around Holmes Close regarding complaints from residents about cannabis use. Cannabis warning notice issued during visits.

    Patrolled priority areas, including Pointers, Andersons & Britannia Rd, with no activity of concern seen.

    Complaints of cannabis use Saffron Square resulted in visits conducted, with two section 8 warnings being issued.

    During patrols of Pointers Field, a man was stop and searched, and he was found in possession of cannabis. A community resolution was issued.

    Plain clothes patrols of Britannia Road were conducted, with six vehicles witnessed causing ASB. Evidence has been gathered and submitted to the operational partnership team for evaluation.

    Officers engaged with children and families at the Walking Bus march organised by the Thorpe Safer Streets Team held July 17th.

    High visibility patrols of Britannia Road and surrounding areas, no offences observed (20July).

    Foot patrols of Andersons Meadow (22 July) following reports of encampment. Upon attendance officers found the group had left.

    Further foot patrols of Andersons Meadow (27 July) following reported ASB. People engaged with in the area, Intel gathered,

    Foot patrols of Marriotts Way and Sloughbottom Park (28 July) following recent reports of dumped motorbikes and increase in bike thefts.

    More patrols of Andersons Meadow and further information gathered after a young person on a dirt bike was seen riding in an anti-social manner.

    Walkabout with local councillor of Britannia Road following ongoing ASB in the area (5 August).
