North Walsham

We work with the community and local partners, while also looking at our own data, to come up with priorities for North Walsham for the next three months. These are currently:
Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) including vehicle related ASB within North Walsham

We will tackle vehicle-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) around the A149 and North Walsham town centre. To address this issue, we will increase proactive patrols in the area, take action against offences, utilise Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) powers, and issue Section 59 warnings where appropriate.

We will tackle ASB within our towns, including underage drinking and incidents of people climbing onto roofs.

We will continue to gather information from our community and partners to identify and target problem locations.

Male teenager arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm in a public place, after officers were called to an incident on Bluebell Road, North Walsham on 29th June 2026.

Two off-road bikes seized and riders reported for no insurance and licence offences, after being caught riding on public roads around North Walsham, causing a nuisance.
Another vehicle has been stopped and given strong words of advice about modifications and driving behaviour.

Issued an ASB warning to a young person who was seen climbing onto a roof in North Walsham.

Having reviewed the data and listened to community feedback, the policing priority for North Walsham and the surrounding area remains as tackling youth-related antisocial behaviour (ASB), including vehicle-related ASB within the North Walsham area.

Targeted patrols in key areas where ASB has been identified by both the community and parish councils will be conducted.

Partner agencies will be engaged with to address ongoing issues that would benefit from a joined-up approach.
