Our aim is to provide a truly local policing service – communities working together with officers and partner agencies, to identify and deal with issues that matter most to them. Responding to and working closely with our communities solves problems, reduces crime and the fear of crime, and helps build trust and confidence in our service. Youth groups and community groups have been a recent focus as we gear up for the summer break. We've been working on explaining what is and isn't acceptable during the school holidays and making sure people know how to report any issues online.
Continuing to work with partners around tobacco and vape seizures. Lots of visits to local schools and youth groups. We have done lots of rural crime engagements including a young farmers session and have enjoyed attending local fetes with crime prevention advice. -
