Hellesdon and Horsford

We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Hellesdon and Horsford for the next three months: Anti-social behaviour across the areas

Residents in Horsford have recently made us aware of an illegally adapted pedal cycle being driven around the village by a young person, displaying some anti-social behaviour.
Officers have now managed to seize the bicycle, which had a petrol motor attached to it, and the boy and his family have been spoken to.

Following anti-social behaviour at a fast food premises on Boundary road we have issued a letter to the individual.

Officers have been carrying out regular patrols at Hellesdon Recreation Ground, Spixworth Village Hall, Horsford Recreation Ground.

We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Hellesdon and Horsford for the next three months: Road Safety across Broadland

Speed checks will be conducted in hotspot locations and safety education offered to all relevant road users. Prosecution of speeding and dangerous driving will be done where appropriate. Officers will enforce the Public Space Protection Order where possible and appropriate to tackle vehicle anti-social behaviour.

Cycle and pedestrian safety as the night draw in over Autum will be distributed to residents both online and in person.

Targeted patrols in key areas where vehicle ASB has been identified by both the community and parish councils will be done.
Partner agencies continue to be engaged with to address ongoing issues which would benefit from a joined-up approach.
