  • The Watlington neighbourhood covers a large geographic area of 24 villages to the south of King’s Lynn. It is essentially rural in nature and many of the residents are either employed in agriculture related occupations or work in the nearby towns.
     
  • RAF Marham is located in the neighbourhood and is one of the largest and most important RAF stations in the UK, with a large number of service personnel and dependents living near to the airfield.
     
  • Wissington Beet Factory is the largest beet processing plant in Europe and employs a large number of local people, particularly during “the campaign” from September to February.
