Welcome to the Hunstanton and Burnham Safer Neighbourhood Team pages. The neighbourhood hugs the coastline of north-west Norfolk, its inland villages and includes the popular seaside resort of Hunstanton.

  • The Hunstanton and Burnham neighbourhood is located in the coastal area of West Norfolk and comprises 24 parishes in the north east of the district.
  • There is a resident population of 160,000 of which a high percentage are elderly and people who have retired to the area. The neighbourhood also attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year to its sandy beaches, unique nature reserves, and pretty villages.
  • The neighbourhood includes the popular Victorian seaside resort of Hunstanton. The historic settlements of Burnham Thorpe, birth place of Admiral Lord Nelson, and Burham Market, attract visitors all year around.
