The collision report will be redacted in line with Force policy. Redacting personal data, any content deemed officer opinion, including investigation notes and observations at the scene, only matters of fact are provided for civil claims purposes.

An unredacted copy of the report is not available for disclosure.

All disclosure is provided solely via the use of Egress. When a request is processed an invitation will be sent out to the email address indicated in your request to access the material. ONLY this email address can access the disclosure, if a different email address is required please make us aware as soon as possible at [email protected].

The disclosure will be available on Egress for one month from the date the invitation is sent, should this not be accessed within this time and we have received no communication from you regarding this, or if additional copies are required at a later date then an administration fee may be applicable to facilitate re-provision of the disclosure.

On completion we will display the BACS details you must use to complete your payment. Your request will only be actioned once payment received.

This information can only be released at the end of the Police Investigation or prosecution, if this is likely to take more than 30 days you will receive a refund.

If Additional Material is held by the Police a schedule will be provided which will allow you to request the required documents, photos , dash cam etc, calculate payment and provide a BACS reference to make the payment.

If a Fatal or Life changing injuries accident, your details will be passed to the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit (FCIU) who will be in contact, via email as to the additional reports they have available.
