Two men have been charged with drug offences after hundreds of wraps of Class A drugs were found at an address in Great Yarmouth.
It comes after officers spotted suspicious behaviour on Nettle Hill East on Friday 28 February and subsequently arrested two men on suspicion of intent to supply a controlled drug.
Officers then carried out a search of a residential address on Paget Road, where they seized a quantity of cocaine and heroin.
William Mascarenhas Silva Sambu, aged 18, and Moises Semedo Pereira, aged 22, both of Paget Road Great Yarmouth were charged with two counts of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.
Both men appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 1 March where they were remanded until a hearing at Norwich Crown Court on Monday 31 March 2025.
Inspector James Makepeace from Great Yarmouth's Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "The supply of drugs is destructive to our communities and we are working tirelessly to identify, locate and detain those who are most intent on profiting from the vulnerable in our town.
"Please continue to tell us about any suspected drugs activity in your neighbourhood so we can safeguard residents and bring offenders to justice."
