Police have charged two men in connection with drugs offences in Norwich.
This follows proactive work by officers who arrested a man in his 20s on Tuesday 25 February at 2.27pm on Earlham West Centre on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Officers then executed a warrant at a property on Pitchford Road.
During a search of the property officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine, cash and mobile phones.
A man in his late teens was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying a controlled drug and drugs possession.
Both men were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Bailey Murphy, 22, of Pitchford Road, Norwich was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug, namely crack cocaine, concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, possession of a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis and money laundering.
Jack Murphy, 18, of Pitchford Road, Norwich was charged with concerned in supplying a class A drug, namely crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug, namely crack cocaine, possession of a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis, possession of a knife and money laundering.
They both appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 26 February where they were remanded into custody ahead of their next court appearance on 26 March 2025.
