Police are issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Norwich.
It follows an incident on Wednesday 12 February 2025 between 5pm and 5.10pm when a man in his 20s received GBH-level injuries in Haymarket, Norwich.
The victim had been collecting food from a fast food restaurant when he was approached by a male who spoke to him and indicated he wanted to continue the conversation outside.
He subsequently punched the victim causing a serious injury to his jaw which required surgery.
The man officers would like to speak to is described as black, in his late 30s/early 40s, with a patchy beard.
Anyone who recognises the man, witnessed the incident, or has any information or footage that could help the investigation is asked to contact Norfolk Police quoting investigation number 36/11756/25 on any of the following channels:
