Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of a cyclist in Matlaske.
The incident happened at approximately 1.30pm today (Saturday 1 March 2025), on Blossom Hill, when police were called to assist the ambulance service after a cyclist had been found in a serious condition
The cyclist, a man aged in his 60s, sadly died at the scene. The investigation into his death is ongoing with one line of enquiry being the possible involvement of another vehicle which did not stop at the scene.
The cyclist had been travelling in the direction of Holt.
The road is currently closed whilst officers carry out their enquiries.
They would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or a vehicle driving in the area with damaged bodywork. Anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to get in touch via the following channels, quoting reference NC-01032025-225:
