Police can confirm a man has sadly died after being found with serious injuries in Castle Gardens in Norwich this morning (Tuesday 21 January).
Emergency services were called at 9.57am following a report a man had been found with serious injuries.
Officers attended with the ambulance service and found the man lying on the footpath at the bottom of the bridge with injuries consistent with a fall from height.
Despite efforts from emergency services and members of the public, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
The areas was cordoned off while emergency services were on scene, the cordon was lifted shortly after 1pm.
