Police have charged a man in connection with a number of incidents in Norwich.
It follows an attempted robbery in Magdalen Road on Tuesday 7 January and the assault of a woman in Cunningham Road on Saturday 11 January.
Stuart Brooke, 29, of William Kett Close, Norwich, has been charged with attempted robbery, attempted theft of motor vehicle, intentional strangulation, threats to kill, possession of a knife, two counts of possession of class B drug – cannabis, possession of a knife, assault and robbery.
Brooke appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 11 February.
