Police have arrested a man following an incident in Great Yarmouth this morning (Monday 13 January).
Officers from the armed response team were called to a property in Wellesley Road in Great Yarmouth at 8.25am this morning after a man was found with lacerations to his head.
The man, in his 40s, was taken to the James Paget Hospital with serious injuries where he is being treated.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH. He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.
A cordon is in place while investigations take place.
