Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Wortwell.
The collision happened on the A143 Bungay Road, at 10.25pm yesterday (Monday 20 January 2025), when a white Seat Ibiza collided with a black Mercedes-Benz EQA.
The driver of the Seat, a man aged in his 20s, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a man aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Addenbrookes in a life-threatening condition.
A full road closure was in place to allow emergency services attended the scene including fire and ambulance. The road reopened at around 12.40pm today (Tuesday 21 January 2025).
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident. Anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to get in touch via the following channels quoting crime reference 36/4747/25:
