Officers have released a CCTV image believed to be of missing woman Mary White.
Mary, 73, was last seen at her home address in Nelson Avenue, Downham Market, at around 10pm on Tuesday 24 September. She was reported missing by family the following morning when it was discovered she was no longer in the house.
The image shows Mary wearing white pyjamas walking along Railway Road at 3.31am on Wednesday.
Inspector Howard Elvidge said: “We are carrying out extensive searches for Mary and are increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“I hope the CCTV image triggers someone’s memory and helps us to build a picture of her movements.
“Officers are checking CCTV and doorbell footage and carrying out methodical searches involving specialist search officers and drones.
“Searches are also being carried out along the river using the force’s Marine Unit, as well as officers on foot along the banks.
“Clearly the focus is on finding Mary and we are keeping an open mind as to her whereabouts.
"Members of the public who, understandably, want to help can do so by checking any doorbell and dashcam cameras and checking any insecure outbuildings.”
Mary is described as around 5ft tall and of slim build, with shoulder-length grey hair.
Anyone who has seen Mary or has any information about where she may be is asked to contact Norfolk Police on 101 quoting ref 48 of 25 September 2024.
