Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Brettenham.
It happened on the A1066 at 8.28pm yesterday (Thursday 3 October) when it's believed a green Kawasaki motorcycle left the road and collided with a tree.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene including fire, ambulance and air ambulance. The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
The road reopened at around 2.40am today (Friday 4 October).
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of the motorcycle prior to the incident.
