Police investigate death of woman - Great Yarmouth

Police are investigating the circumstances around the death of a woman in Great Yarmouth.
Officers were called shortly after 2pm today (Tuesday 19 November 2024) following a report that the body of a woman had been found at a property in Middlegate.
Emergency services attended the scene but sadly, the woman, who was aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead.
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
The area has been cordoned off while officers continue to carry out enquiries.
