A woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.
The woman in her 30s was arrested in Cambridgeshire on Monday evening as part of the investigation into the stabbing of a man in Thetford on Sunday 10 March 2024.
She was taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre for questioning and has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
It comes after emergency services were called to Bury Road on Sunday at around 11.45am to reports a man had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim, a man in his 30s, remains in a critical condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Detectives continue to search for two outstanding males and ask anyone with information to get in touch.
