Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision which happened on the A47 at Keswick near Thickthorn on Wednesday night (6 March).
The collision happened at 8.55pm on the Westbound carriageway between Harford and Thickthorn involving red Smart fortwo and a white Ford Transit van.
Emergency services were on scene including police, fire and ambulance and the driver of the Smart car, in his 70s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital to be treated for serious injuries but sadly died of his injuries yesterday (7 March).
