A man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for sexually assaulting four teenage girls over two and a half years.
Aiden Rollin, 22, of Beccles Road, Bradwell was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court (Friday 19th January 2024) and issued with a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and lifetime Notification Requirements.
Rollin previously admitted six offences against two girls including one count of sexual assault by penetration and five counts of sexual activity with a child involving penetration.
He was then found guilty of four further offences against two other teenage girls following a trial at Norwich Crown Court.
The offences included one count of rape, one count of attempted sexual assault by penetration, and two counts of sexual assault by touching.
One of his victims described him as a “monster” who “destroyed so many people’s lives”.
In a statement read to the court during the sentencing hearing, she said: “I am so glad you are finally going away. I don’t want anyone else feeling the way I do.
“You made me suffer three long years pleading your innocence, well now you have a long time to think about all the things you did and how broken you have left innocent people.
“You used my kindness and vulnerability to your advantage. You became my demon, everything I feared. You haunted my life and I cried myself to sleep every night with the images of everything you had done replaying in my head.
“You are the lowest of the low. I have no regrets in saying any of this because you deserve this and so much more. I want you to hurt as much as I have.”
Investigating officer Tom Cole said: “Rollin targeted vulnerable young girls.
“I have no doubt he would have gone on to offend further, had it not been for the bravery of his victims coming forward.
“I would like to thank each of them for supporting this prosecution, it takes great courage to talk about events which have been hugely traumatic.”
“I hope that this sentence will reassure victims of sexual assault and rape that we will always work to investigate every report we receive and take each one seriously.”
