A police car was damaged after two unknown males threw a brick from a footbridge over the A47 at Gorleston.
Norfolk Police have launched an investigation into the incident which happened just after midnight on Tuesday 9 January 2024.
Officers say the vehicle was travelling along the A47 at Gorleston heading towards Lowestoft when the brick struck the windscreen.
It was dropped from the footbridge that crosses the dual carriageway just after the Victoria Road roundabout by two males.
The brick, described as grey and square, bounced off the car windscreen on the driver’s side causing it to crack. Fortunately no-one was injured.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help the investigation, including dashcam or doorbell footage from the bridge or the surrounding areas capturing the offenders.
