Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Watton during the early hours of yesterday (11 February 2024).
A black Ford Fiesta was travelling northbound towards Watton and was in collision with a white Vauxhall Corsa which was travelling southbound on the A1075 just south of Watton town centre.
The female driver of the Corsa remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Fiesta, a man in his late teens, was taken to hospital for treatment for a serious injury. After being released from hospital, the man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving without insurance. He was interviewed at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre and has been released under investigation.
