Police are appealing for witnesses after three golf buggies were stolen from Gorleston Golf Club in Hopton-On-Sea.
The incidents, believed to be linked, happened overnight on Tuesday 20 February to the morning of Wednesday 21 February 2024.
An unknown person/s stole a golf buggy from the golf club on Warren Road, took it to Gorleston beach cliffs between 6am on 20 February and 7.11am on 21 February and left it to roll to the bottom, crashing into railings and onto the beach causing damage – crime reference 36/12074/24.
A second golf buggy from the club was taken between 10pm on February 20 and 6am on February 21 and was abandoned on a bridleway off Primrose Way and Falkland Way and discovered burnt out – crime reference 36/12077/24.
During the same time frame, a third golf buggy was also taken and rolled down the cliff tops near to Jay Jay’s Café, again causing damage to railings before landing on the beach - crime reference 36/12036/24.
