A man has been sentenced this week after pleading guilty to an assault that took place on the A47 on 4 June 2024.
The incident occurred at 3.30pm on the A47 carriageway near to Brundall roundabout, when a school bus driver and a van driver became involved in a verbal altercation. The incident escalated and the van driver punched the bus driver a number of times.
Keith Howard, aged 62, of Bridle Close, Hemsby, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (17 December 2024) charged with assault by beating. He was fined £275 and ordered to pay the victim £500 in compensation.
