A man has been charged following a £10,000 burglary from a shop in Diss.
The incident happened in the early hours of 12 May 2024, in which a store on Mere Street was broken into and a large number of products were stolen, as well as cash.
Later that day, a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was later released on bail with conditions.
Jack Peel, aged 38, of Park Close, Wymondham, was charged on Monday 16 December 2024 with burglary other than dwelling, and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on 24 January 2025 for his first hearing.
