Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Hopton.
The incident happened at around 8.40pm yesterday (Wednesday 11 December 2024), on the southbound carriageway of the A47 between Hopton and Gorleston, when a blue Vaxuhall Astra collided with a white Range Rover Evoque.
Sadly, the driver of the Range Rover, a man aged in his 30s, died at the scene.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a man aged in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving. He has been taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including fire and ambulance. It remains closed at this time.
