A man has been charged with drink driving after being found to be almost four times the legal limit.
A man in his 40s was stopped yesterday morning (Tuesday 27 August 2024) in Taverham due to his manner of driving. He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, of driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance to his license. He was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
John Murray, aged 40, of Rosebay Close, Norwich, has been charged with driving a vehicle while over the limit, having provided an evidential breath test of 135 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ court on 10 October 2024.
