Fatal house fire – Thetford

Police are investigating following a fatal house fire in Thetford last night (Monday 12 August).
Officers were called to Bury Road at 9.23pm by fire crews who had discovered a body inside while responding to a property fire.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained, and the scene remains cordoned off while officers and fire investigators work to determine the full circumstances of the fire.
