Appeal following serious collision in Hockering

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A47 in Hockering.
It happened at 2.43pm yesterday (Thursday 22 August) near the junction with Low Road when a blue Ford Fiesta travelling towards Dereham collided with a silver VW Golf and then a Silver VW Transporter van.
The driver of the Fiesta received serious injures and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
The road reopened just before 11.15pm last night (Thursday 22 August).
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch via the following channels quoting reference NC-22082024-274.
