Police appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Great Yarmouth. The incident happened on Tuesday 27 August at 9.43pm on South Beach Parade when a white Tesla Model 3 collided with a pedestrian.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including ambulance.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 30s, sadly died as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the Tesla, a man aged in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.
The road reopened at around 2.40am.
Officers would like to peak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have any relevant dashcam footage. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch via the following channels quoting reference NC-27082024-549:
