A man in his 30s has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a fatal collision in Earsham on Sunday 1 October (2023).
The collision happened between a silver Mitsubishi and a black Ford S Max on the A143 in Earsham at approximately 8pm. The driver of the Ford sadly died.
The driver of the silver Mitsubishi, Lee Peartree, 34, from Roydon, Diss, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. He was subsequently arrested and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning and charged with death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious Injury by dangerous driving.
He was remanded and appeared at Norwich Magistrate's Court on Saturday (7 October) where he was remanded into custody and is next due to appear on 6 November 2023 at Norwich Crown Court.
