Police were called to Eaton Road at 2.15pm today following reports of a boy being assaulted with a tail comb.
Officers attended the scene and a boy has been taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A boy has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He has since been released on bail until 6 January 2024.
Superintendent Wes Hornigold said: ‘We will be investigating the full circumstances surrounding this incident. The victim’s injuries are not believed to be serious and he is expected to be released from hospital later this evening following treatment.’
