Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Great Witchingham.
The incident happened on Tuesday 10 October 2023 on Porter’s Lane at around 4.15pm when a Triumph motorcycle collided with an HGV.
The motorcyclist was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He has since sadly died.
The driver of the HGV was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs and alcohol. He has since been remanded in custody. He has been released on bail until 9 January 2024.
Officers are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle to get in touch. They are also keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage.
