Police have charged two teenage girls with public order offences.
It follows an incident at around 5pm on Monday 23 October in Chapelfield Gardens when a teenage girl and boy were approached by a group of teenagers who demanded they hand over their phones and money.
Members of the public intervened and nothing was taken.
As a result of police investigations and a public appeal for information, two girls have been charged with section 4 of the Public Order Act, causing someone to fear violence.
One of them has also been charged with shoplifting.
They will appear at Norwich Youth Court on Monday 27 November 2023.
