Police have launched an investigation after a cannabis grow was uncovered in Great Yarmouth yesterday (Tuesday 7 November 2023).
Officers executed a drugs warrant and entered a property on School Road yesterday morning, finding over 150 cannabis plants and growing equipment inside. The electrical supply to the premises was also found to have been dangerously tampered with.
A man was found hiding inside the address and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation. He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
The suspect, Rexhep Jemini, aged 37, of School Road Back, Great Yarmouth, was charged on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and remanded, to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 8 November 2023).
