Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched to the ground and had an unknown liquid sprayed in his face in Norwich.
Emergency services were called at around 11pm to St Stephen’s Street on Saturday 4 November 2023 to reports a man, aged in his 50s, had been assaulted by a group of men.
Another man, aged in his 40s, who attempted to intervene was also sprayed with the liquid.
The victims suffered skin irritation and reddening to the eyes.
A number of people were in the area around the bus stops at the time and police are keen for those people to come forward, and also for anyone who captured any footage or images to get in touch.
